Biographical Statement 

During his internship, Stefano was a Major student in International Economics and Management at Bocconi University in Milan, he wrote his thesis on the Foreign policy of the European Union and did a case study on the intervention of NATO in Libya.

His main research interests concern Diplomacy and Peace and Security studies. In September 2012 he started pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at SOAS University in London. After his studies, Stefano would like to enter the Italian Foreign Affairs Ministry to start a diplomatic career. This interest in Diplomacy arose when Stefano completed an internship at the United States Embassy in Rome.

At UNU-CRIS Stefano worked under the supervision of Philippe De Lombaerde on the regional organisation budget database, updating the data and analysing indicators of fiscal integration until the end of April 2012.
