Biographical Statement 

Ye holds a Master’s Degree of International Politics at Xiamen University, China. 

During his internship at UNU-CRIS he worked on his PhD project entitled ‘From Proactive Convergence to Selective Exclusion-Discursive Shift on Mutual Image Construction between the EU and Turkey’ which is funded by the Chinese Scholarship Council. His main research interest include EU-Turkey relationship, Turkish foreign relations, Turkish politics, Europeanization and Eurasia geopolitics. 

Ye Kan worked closely with Madeline Hosli until mid-July 2019 and benefited from insights of others within the increasingly dynamic and international environment at UNU-CRIS.
