Biographical Statement 

Ancuta Isbasoiu holds a Master’s Degree in International Economics and Macroeconomic Policies from the University of Paris West Nanterre La Défense. Prior to this, she obtained a Master’s Degree in Trade and International Business at the University of Paris East Créteil Val de Marne. Ancuta also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, with a Major in International Business from the Transylvania University of Brasov. In the fall of 2009, she was a visiting Erasmus student at the University of Paris East Créteil Val de Marne. She also served as an intern at the Economic Department of the Romanian Embassy in Paris. In addition to this, she worked as assistant manager in a French corporation with the seat in Paris.

Her research interests include inter alia international economics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, industrial organisation, and public economics. At UNU-CRIS, she worked on various research streams on quantitative economics under the supervision of Professor Philippe De Lombaerde until the end of 2013.
