Biographical Statement 

Antonia finished her undergraduate studies at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt/Oder in Social and Cultural Science in 2010. The programme included a semester abroad at the University College London and a final paper about the participation of non-governmental organisations on global climate conferences.

During her internship, Antonia was pursuing a Master’s Degree in International and European Relations at Linköping University. She wrote her Master’s thesis on the concept of human security as a theoretical concept within security studies and as a possible security concept for the European Union.

At UNU-CRIS, Antonia researched and assisted the Regional Peace and Security research programme. She worked under the supervision of Professor Ademola Abass until July 2012.
