Biographical Statement
Carsten Gerards is Senior Academic Assistant at the College of Europe in Bruges, having joined the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies in August 2018. While pursuing a PhD project on the external dimensions of EU education policy at Leiden University, he also teaches at the Centre International de Formation Européene (CIFE) and is – as an External Research Fellow – affiliated to the Center for EU and Turkey Studies (CETEUS) at the University of Cologne.
