Biographical Statement 

Doris Dialer is Adjunct Professor at the University of Innsbruck’s Department of Political Science, and Associate Lecturer at the Department of Knowledge and Communication Management at the Danube University and at the Jean Monnet Chair on European Integration & Ethics (MCI Innsbruck). A political scientist by training, she earned her MA and PhD in European Studies from the University of Innsbruck and completed a MAS Program at the Universitas Indonesia Jakarta/Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta. Doris was working for the European Parliament from 2006 till 2020 as an APA. Since February 2020 she has been working as a Policy Advisor on European & international Affairs for the Austrian Minister of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection. Doris has lectured widely, much of her recent research focuses on EU Public Affairs and Advocacy, EU Social & Health Policy and Africa-EU Relations. She is co-editor of the book series "Europawissenschaftliche Reihe" IUP/NOMOS and the IFIR working papers.
