Biographical Statement 

Florabel Quispe Remón is a (virtual) Associate Research Fellow at UNU-CRIS within the Re-Lab Cluster. She is a lawyer and holds a PhD in Law from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), and is an Associate Professor of Public International Law and International Relations at the same University since 2008. Florabel, who is a Spanish and Peruvian national, works on issues related to human rights, especially regional systems; integration processes, focusing her attention on Latin America; environment, sustainable development objectives, sustainability, healthy campuses, and so on. She is Honoris Causa Dr. of the Universidad Nacional de San Cristóbal de Humanga-Perú.

At UNU-CRIS, Florabel will primarily work on sustainable development goals, mainly on SDG 3 linked to a healthy campus. A comparative work between Europe-Spain and Latin America-Perú within the Regions and Cities Governance Lab (Re-LAB) Cluster.
