Celi, Humberto
Humberto Celi completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Sciences at the KU Leuven with a specialisation in development in 2012. The same year he started a Master’s programme in European Studies and chose “Europe in the world” as his professional focus. In 2013, he took part in an Erasmus programme and had the opportunity to go to Prague for a period of 5 months. In 2014, he participated in the EU and International Business Law (EIBL) programme organised by the Saint-Louis University. He was writing a Master’s thesis about the Regional Integration processes in Europe and in Latin America.
His research focusses are Comparative Regionalism, Latin America integration, and European integration.
During his three-month internship at UNU-CRIS he provided research assistance related to the EU-Ecuador Trade and Development Agreement and worked on his Master’s thesis under the supervision of Philippe De Lombaerde.
