Freeman, Ian
Ian Freeman was a Master’s candidate in Public Policy and Human Development at the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance. During his Master’s he specialised in Regional Integration and Multi-Level Governance. Ian holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Law from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK. He has a professional background in political research and public sector communications. He undertook personal research into a comparison of political narrative construction by regional institutions. This work contributed towards his Master’s thesis.
As an intern at UNU-CRIS, Ian conducted policy research, under the supervision of Stephen Kingah, on “Poverty Reduction and Regional Integration: a Comparative Analysis of SADC and UNASUR Health Policies” (PRARI)."
