Biographical Statement 

Karl-Heinz O’Doherty was a (virtual) Management Assistant from 15 February 2021 until 4 June 2021.  Karl-Heinz is a final-year student finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Languages at Howest in Bruges. As a specialisation he chose International Trade. He worked on his dissertation concerning mental health policies of employees within companies in West-Flanders.

During his last internship at Wallenius Wilhelmsen, a global logistics company, he contributed to the safety policy of the company which lead him to his dissertation subject.

His traineeship at UNU-CRIS allowed Karl-Heinz to follow the steps of Pascale Vantorre. He assisted her with daily administrative tasks and the organisation of (virtual) events at UNU-CRIS.
