Galvis, Lina
Lina Galvis holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogotá and a specialisation degree in environmental law from Universidad del Rosario. She obtained her Master (of Law) in International and European Law from KU Leuven. Her master’s thesis analyses how environmental migrants could be legally protected under international and EU law. Aside from her studies, Lina has worked as a lawyer in Colombia in corporate law, public law and environmental law.
During her internship at UNU-CRIS, she assisted Sarah Delputte on a research project that focused on EU’s fisheries policies towards Africa. Lina assisted with literature review and data collection on EU Sustainable Fisheries Agreements with the African States.
