In 2018 Lunting Wu was an intern at UNU-CRIS from March until September. Prior to his return at UNU-CRIS in March 2019, first as an intern for one month followed by a visiting scholarship until mid-July 2019, he was an Assistant Researcher at the University of Lisbon in the framework of the EU Horizon 2020 project CRISEA - Competing Regional Integrations in Southeast Asia.
Lunting holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Lisbon, and a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Language Studies (Portuguese Studies) from Macao University of Science and Technology.
At UNU-CRIS, his research revolved around two topics: the transition of Southeast Asian countries towards a low-carbon economy, and the energy integration and cooperation in the ASEAN.
He has also worked at the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China as Government Affairs Assistant. Furthermore, he had training experience at the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and at the High Court of Guangdong Province.
