Max Mycroft was a research intern at UNU-CRIS. Max holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering management from Loughborough University, and a Master of Science degree in environmental systems engineering from University College London. In his master’s thesis, Max analysed river pollutants and ocean health and designed a system to remove chemical pollutants in the most polluted river estuaries.
Max discovered his passion for environmental protection through various outdoor pursuits and work as a Mountain Leader and became a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment to transition to a career in environmental impact assessment.
At UNU-CRIS, Max Mycroft worked under the supervision of Nidhi Nagabhatla and Glenn Rayp, on the environmental impact assessment of trade agreements project by conducting stakeholder interviews to build on conclusions made in the initial report.
