Konstantinis, Alvertos
Alvertos Konstantinis followed the Research Master’s programme Spatial Sciences in the Faculty of Spatial Sciences at the University of Groningen (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen) with a specialisation in Economic Geography and track “Regional Competitiveness and Trade”.
In 2017, Alvertos obtained his degree in Environmental Engineering from the School of Environmental Engineering in the Technical University of Crete (TUC) where he defended his thesis “Bioeconomy and Common Agricultural Policy (CAP): A Bibliometric Network Analysis”.
Once graduated, Alvertos collaborated with different organisations and institutes, his last working experience was at the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA) at the Économie Publique Department in Thiverval-Grignon, France.
During his three-month internship at UNU-CRIS, he examined the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the subnational level and the indexes that are most commonly used to evaluate the progress under the supervision of Professors Glenn Rayp and Samuel Standaert in the research programme of Global Governance and Subnational Regions.
