Kevin Parthenay is an Associate Research Fellow at UNU-CRIS within the Re-LAB Cluster. He is Full Professor of Political Science at the University of Tours and Junior Member of the University Institute of France (IUF) and a researcher at the Observatory of Latin American and Caribbean Politics (OPALC/Sciences Po).
He currently leads two research projects: the first one funded by the French National Agency for Research aims at studying the surge of regional authority in Africa and Latin America (Crafting Regional Authority, REGPOL-ALA), the second one funded by the IUF aims at exploring the role and place of Latin American States in multilateral negotiations related to the commons (oceans, health, outer space) (Latin America and the Crafting of Global Norms, LAT-GLOB).
Previously, Kevin Parthenay held a lecturer position at Sciences Po, and was Deputy Director of its Latin American Campus.
