Karolina Kluczewska is a Visiting Research Fellow at UNU-CRIS, and a Research Associate at the Institute of Middle East, Central Asia and Caucasus Studies at the University of St Andrews. Prior to that, she held research and teaching positions at Ghent University, Centre for Global Cooperation Research in Duisburg, University of Marburg, University of Giessen, Tajik National University, Tomsk State University and University Sorbonne Paris Nord.
During her visiting research fellowship at UNU-CRIS, Karolina will work with Ine Lietaert within the Migration and Social Policy Cluster. She will primarily focus on the conceptualisation of post-socialist welfare, exploring knowledge orders and family policymaking in Poland.
Karolina’s work appeared, among others, in Review of International Studies, International Political Sociology, Geopolitics, Global Studies Quarterly, Journal of Intervention and Statebuilding. Recently, she co-edited the volume EU-Central Asian Interactions: Perceptions, Interests and Practices.
