Biographical Statement 

Pascale Vantorre is the Management Assistant at UNU-CRIS.  She is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Director's office.

Besides managing the Director's office, she is co-taking care of the communication with local governing bodies and actors and is the first contact person at UNU-CRIS.  She coordinates the organisation of workshops, seminars, and conferences with the administrative assistant throughout the year.

Professorial Fellows, research fellows, visiting research fellows and interns are welcomed by Pascale Vantorre upon their arrival. She regularly supervises trainee management assistants.

Pascale started working for Ghent University on 1 January 2017. Prior to that, since the foundation of UNU-CRIS in March 2000, she was seconded from the College of Europe to UNU-CRIS until the end of December 2016. Previously, she was a Management Assistant in the Economics Department of the College of Europe.

She obtained a Bachelor Degree in Office Management at Howest in Bruges.
