Report Launch: Supporting Sustainable Mining Practices and Pathways in the Congo Region

05 June 2024

Overview

Achieving sustainability in natural resource mining is a global challenge requiring industry-wide shifts. In regions like the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), responsible mining practices are vital for environmental and socio-economic well-being.

On 5 June, World Environment Day, we will launch our recently published report, Supporting Sustainable Mining Practices and Pathways in the Congo Region, as we bring together some of the authors and other leading voices in the field to discuss the findings of the report and how they can be translated into meaning action and lasting change.
