Biographical Statement 

Vincent Rollet is Assistant-Professor at Wenzao University and associated researcher at the French Centre for Research on Contemporary China (CEFC) in Hong Kong. He also teaches “European studies” at the Catholic University of Lille (July 2014). In the past, he has collaborated with the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), the Asia Foundation and the Asian Health Literacy Association (AHLA) on several academic projects.

Dr. Rollet received his PhD in International Relations in 2010 from Sciences Po Paris, France. His PhD thesis concerned the identity and security dimensions of health diplomacy in Asia.

He has published several academic articles in peer-reviewed journals such as Etudes Internationales, European Foreign Affairs Review, China Perspectives and Extreme-Orient Extreme Occident as well as different book chapters in French, in English and in Chinese.

His research interests include: Asia-EU relations, Asian and European regionalism with a focus on health integration; global and regional health governance, health diplomacy and health interregionalism.

During his time at UNU-CRIS, he collaborated with Stephen Kingah on his project which focussed on the nature and functions of Asia-EU health interregionalism.
