Biographical Statement 

Alisha Parikh was a Research Intern at UNU-CRIS and pursued a master’s degree in Global Health at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. Additionally, she completed a graduate diploma for the Water without Borders (WWB) programme offered by the United Nations University. 

She was a student at Maastricht University in the Netherlands as an extension of her master’s degree in the Implementing Innovations on a Global Scale track. 

During her internship at UNU-CRIS, Alisha wrote a paper to assess climate change’s impact on mental health and review existing topics. She worked under the supervision of Nidhi Nagabhatla within the Nature, Climate and Health Cluster.
