ERIA - UNU-CRIS Joint Workshop on Regional Approaches Towards Digital Trade Governance

This project workshop will discuss close-to-final papers that were elaborated on the topic of “Regional Approaches to Digital Trade Governance”, funded by ERIA and implemented in collaboration with UNU-CRIS.

The various expert contributions address how policies and regulations dealing with the rapidly evolving digital aspects of trade in goods and services, as well as international data flows, are evolving. This includes digital services, e-payments, digital product tracing, taxes, etc. At the same time, the links with AI governance and competition policies in the digital economy are also addressed. The geographical focus is on East and Southeast Asia, Europe and Latin America.

This is a closed workshop, but a limited number of places are available for people interested in these topics to attend in-person. However, attending online is also possible. For further information, please contact: pvantorre@cris.unu.edu.
