Abstract:

Telò’s new book is the second edition of this successful work. As the editor puts it himself, the particular focus of the book is the ‘comparative analysis of regional organizations and their interrelations with the globalized economy and world politics of the post-Cold War era’. This translates into a (long) list of related questions that are addressed in the book. In addition, the book focuses particularly on the EU and its current and future role in global governance and as a comparator in comparative regionalism studies. It also seeks to contribute to bridging the divide between EU studies and (comparative) regionalism studies and their respective communities.
