Joint ITIM-UNU-CRIS SEMINAR by Samuel Standaert on the 2022 SDG Monitor for Flanders

07 October 2022
Ghent

The ITIM Research Group at Ghent University in collaboration with UNU-CRIS is organising the Breakfast Seminar by Samuel Standaert.

Abstract: The SDG monitor is one of the most extensive and complete efforts to monitor the SDGs on the local level. With over 200 indicators for all 300 Flemish municipalities, the SDG monitor aims to present a highly nuanced view of the SDG outcomes. In addition to a short presentation of the index, we will quickly highlight the main patterns in the SDG performance and how it can be presented to be of most use to the local policymakers.

For those looking to do research on Flandres, we can provide information on where you can find the data on the municipal level, including indicators of International and intra-Flemish migration, and data on school delay or discrimination that distinguished based on gender or county of origin.
