Rocha, Leonardo

With a background in Communication Science and Journalism, Leonardo previously worked as Editor-assistant for some publications and institutional new media projects. While pursuing a Master’s Degree on European Studies, Leonardo, who has received his higher education at the Universities of Lisbon, saw this opportunity at UNU-CRIS as an important step to deepen his knowledge and benefit from the stimulating exchange environment. Leonardo worked together with Liesbeth Martens in the framework of 10 years UNU-CRIS until the end of June 2011.

His subjects of interest and research are: human rights, sustainability, capacity building, regional integration and the development and strengthening of the Unasur.
