Luk Van Langenhove delivers Keynote Address in Berlin at the Commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the Fall of the Wall
On 9 November 2019, the world will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and all eyes will be on the German capital. Around this historical event the city will host an international Summit from 6 until 10 November 2019. On the evening of 9 November world-renowned singers and bands will perform a peace concert, paying tribute to the past 30 years without the Wall.
The Summit, called “Berlin Wall 30 - From the Divided to the City of Freedom: The 30th Anniversary for the Fall of the Wall” will include the participation of about thousand delegates, including senior politicians representing 150 states, leading political theorists, religious leaders, executives of major corporations, chief diplomats, and celebrated artists travelling to Berlin from all corners of the world.
UNU-CRIS Senior Associate Research Fellow Luk Van Langenhove has been invited to deliver a keynote Address to this Summit. He will speak about “The Psychology of Walls and the need for Windows of Dialogue”.
