UNU-CRIS hosting a Virtual Studio during The European Dialogue on Internet Governance

28 June 2021 to 30 June 2021
Conference
Bruges

The European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG) is an open multi-stakeholder platform to exchange views about the Internet and how it is governed. First organised in 2008 by several organisations, government representatives and experts, it fosters a multistakeholder dialogue and collaboration with the Internet community on public policy for the Internet – culminating in an annual conference that takes place in a different European city every year. Now that it is virtual, there are several European cities that will be hosting a Studio for discussions.

For this event, Nadia Tjahja, UNU-CRIS PhD Fellow, will be co-hosting a Studio at UNU-CRIS to foster the dialogue between relevant stakeholders. Tjahja is also part of the programme committee of the Youth Dialogue on Internet Governance (YouthDIG) - a pre-event to introduce young people interested in internet governance to upcoming topics and prepare them to attend the event. She facilitates the Youth Messages, which will be presented at the plenary session 'Presenting the Youth Messages.'

One of the outcomes is the EuroDIG ‘Messages’ that will be presented to the UN-mandated Internet Governance Forum (IGF) to be held between 6th-10th December, 2021 in Katowice, Poland.
