Supporting Water Security
On 3 April 2024, Nidhi Nagabhatla, Senior Research Fellow at UNU-CRIS, was invited at the Human-Water Feedbacks Seminar and delivered a talk about “Water for Prosperity and Peace - The United Nations World Water Development Report (WWDR) 2024” as an Invited speaker of the “Human-Water Feedbacks Seminar – River Commons Conservation Education Among Youths building Socio-Economic, Ecological and Cultural Resilience to Climate Change” hosted by the Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos (EESC), University of Sao Paulo (USP), under UNESCO Chair on Urban Water Quality, Management, Recovery and Reuse.
Dr Nidhi Nagabhatla talk was attended by students from “Water Without Borders” Graduate Program of McMaster University, Canadá, under supervision of Prof. Nancy Doubleday, and “Hydraulic and Sanitation Engineering” Graduate Program of EESC-USP ( University of University of Sao Paulo, Brazil). The talk is officially appended as mandatory reading for students of the 2-credit course PPG SHS EESC USP (University of Sao Paulo, Brazil).
