Van Dyck, Tine
Tine Van Dyck was a research intern at UNU-CRIS. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences from Ghent University and she will start her Master’s in Economics, majoring in Economic Policy. She had the opportunity to study at the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal for four months as part of the Erasmus Programme. Here, she experienced the international aspect of her study.
During her internship, she updated the database of RIKS on regional integration agreements. This involved updating the membership information of all RIAs currently in the database, identifying and adding new treaties, filling in the gaps, checking for new indicator data, and updating the merged database on regional integration agreements.
Furthermore, she also wrote a small report for an organization of choice and calculate several regional integration indicators of trade, investment, and migration.
Within the Economic Interactions’ Cluster and the RIKS Cluster, under the supervision of Glenn Rayp and Samuel Standaert, she interned at UNU-CRIS until mid-September.
