Glaudio will be working on the EU-funded project European Leadership in Cultural, Science and Innovation Diplomacy (EL-CSID), by focusing on the relation between the negotiation of Free Trade Agreements and Science and Innovation. In doing so, he will bring along his knowledge and working experience in the drug development industry as Sr. Clinical Researcher, implementing and running clinical trials across 3 different countries and regulatory environments: Mexico, India and Australia. This fact made him develop interest in public policy as he experienced first-hand the work of public health systems and the impact of pharmaceutical policies.
He holds a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from La Salle University in Mexico City and is recently finishing his Master in Public Policy and Human Development co-organised by Maastricht University and UNU-MERIT. He followed the specialization of Regional Integration and Multilevel Governance.
His research interests include regional integration processes, diplomacy, foreign policy and global health.
Glaudio will be supervised by Luk Van Langenhove, Elke Boers and Riccardo Trobbiani until the end of August 2017.
