Lucas D'hondt is a final-year student at Howest in Bruges where he is pursuing a B.A. in Business and Languages - Event and Project Management. His thesis focuses on the accessibility of music festivals in Flanders for people with a disability. He also participated in the Football For All Leadership Programme in Lisbon, which is a unique programme to promote employment and entrepreneurship among people with disabilities in the world of football.
He was recently conducting an internship in Toronto at an event agency, yet due to COVID-19 he had to return to Belgium. He is interested in topics around accessibility, environment and sustainable entrepreneurship.
At UNU-CRIS, Lucas will be helping our team with updating the UNU-CRIS website and organising events under the supervision of Andrew Dunn and Pascale Vantorre until the mid of June 2020.
