Director Philippe De Lombaerde Delivers Lectures at Two South American Universities
This week UNU-CRIS Director Philippe De Lombaerde delivered two virtual lectures to audiences in Brazil and Colombia.
On 27 October, he delivered the inaugural lecture of the Regionalism section of the graduate module 'Plural Societies, Conflict and Institutions' of the San Tiago Dantas Graduate Program in International Relations (UNESP-UNICAMP-PUC-SP), São Paulo (Brazil). The course is part of the activities of the Development, International Politics and Peace research network (DIPP), funded by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (CAPES-Print Project) in which UNU-CRIS is a partner. The lecture was titled “Comparative Regionalism is What Researchers Make of It”.
The second lecture, delivered on 28 October, was in the framework of the Internationalization Week at the Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano (Colombia). The lecture, delivered in Spanish, was titled “La integración regional en el mundo: ¿qué dicen los números?”.
