Madeleine Hosli, UNU-CRIS Director, delivers Keynote Speech at International Conference at the College of Europe, Bruges, 29 September 2017
UNU-CRIS Director Madeleine Hosli will deliver the keynote lecture at the international conference “A New Order or No Order? Continuity and Discontinuity in the EU-China-US Relationship” organised at the College of Europe in Bruges on 29 September 2017. The one-day conference (programme) will discuss the extent to which ongoing global changes provide fundamental discontinuities in the EU-China-US triangle. It will focus on the fields of trade and investment, foreign and security policy, and climate and energy policy. The position of other major powers outside the triangle in defining the EU-China-US relationship will also be discussed.
Participation is free of charge, but online registration is required.
On the eve of this conference, the College of Europe organises a Round Table on “Transatlantic Relations in Challenging Times” (28 September 2017, 16:30h-18:15h) to launch its new Master of Arts in Transatlantic Affairs (MATA) programme, offered jointly with The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
