Nidhi Nagabhatla is delivering a Lecture on From Fragmentation to Integration: Tackling the Nature–Climate–Health Nexus Through Cross-Sectoral Activities and Action at the VUB

UNU-CRIS, in close collaboration with the Department of Water and Climate  (Prof Ann Van Griensven ) at VUB, is advancing work on water and climate security. Dr Nidhi Nagabhtla will deliver a talk on 16  September under the theme “From Fragmentation to Integration: Tackling the Nature–Climate–Health Nexus Through Cross-Sectoral Activities and Action.”  

UNU-CRIS collaborates with VUB to jointly seek to move beyond siloed approaches by fostering dialogue and research that connect environmental governance, human health, and climate resilience. Drawing on the interdisciplinary expertise of team members and scholars, we aim to generate actionable knowledge and policy pathways that not only highlight the interdependence of ecosystems, climate systems, and human well-being but also support integrated solutions. This partnership leverages the strengths of both institutions to translate evidence into practical strategies, build capacity across scales, and promote inclusive approaches that can accelerate systemic transformation toward a resilient and sustainable future.
