Dr. Nidhi Nagabhatla will give a keynote address (online) at International Conference on Sustainable Management Practices for Inclusive Growth: Issues, Challenges, and Strategies (15 - 16 December 2022) organized by Amity Business School, Gurugram, India.
The event is providing a platform for researchers, academicians, practitioners, and policymakers from Global South and beyond to collaborate and interact with each other in the light of the ongoing dialogues and processes in the context of the best practices in sustainable management.
Nidhi’s talk scheduled for December 16th, 10 am CET entitled: ‘12, 13,16, and 17 (SDGs): Setting the pathway (formula) for closed-loop inclusive and sustainable growth (circular economy)’ will provide conceptual and empirical evidence on interlinkages between sustainable growth and development with the preview of 2030 Agenda, in particular, Sustainable Development Goals ( 12, 12, 16 and 17). She will provide an overview of how leveraging emerging pathways like the blue and green economy, nature-based solutions, ecological restoration, and circularity approaches can support the implementation of SDGs. She will also emphasize the work that UNU CRIS has undertaken in steering sustainability parties in the Global Seaweed Industry as noted
