Adelina Sharipova, UNU-CRIS PhD Fellow in the presence of Glenn Rayp and Samuel Standaert, will deliver her PhD presentation on Estimating the Impact of Time-varying Costs of Trade, Migration, and Investment in Lille on Saturday, 20 November 2021.
Later that afternoon, also Justine Millier, UNU-CRIS PhD Fellow, will present her PhD Project on disentangling the "Spaghetti bowl" of regional integration under the supervision of Samuel Standaert. She aims to quantify the impact of the phenomenon on countries by using network analysis tools as well as counterfactual techniques.
These presentations will be delivered at the Socio-Economic Impacts of Regional Integration: BORDERS Workshop, which UNU-CRIS is organising together with the University of Lille, the University of Kent and the KU Leuven.
