Philippe De Lombaerde Speaks About the Comparative Regionalism Research Programme at the 10th International Kraft Conference in Köszeg, Hungary

The 10th International Kraft Conference aimed to address the challenges, achievements and opportunities of cultural heritage-based urban and regional development, through international examples to local best practices. The anniversary event was a good opportunity to look back, and take stock of the past, assess the present and gauge plans for the future. In three consecutive days, the following topics were covered: regional science in the light of domestic and cross-border cooperation, history of Kraft’s development through national and international projects, and plans for the future with a focus on knowledge hubs. Philippe De Lombaerde presented on the Comparative Regionalism research programme.

The Institute of Advanced Studies in Kőszeg (FTI-iASK) organised the 10th International Kraft Conference entitled: Can we cooperate? The three-day event took place from 2-4 December 2024 in Kőszeg (Zwinger, Kőszeg, Chernel utca 16). The conference was supported by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office and could be attended in person or online.
