UN Agencies hold their Annual Retreat in Bruges

The Heads of the UN agencies based in Belgium are holding their annual Retreat in Bruges on 20 and 21 February. The UN Director and the Directors of IOM, UNEP and UNFPA in Brussels will join the staff at UNU-CRIS for an informal lunch discussion on Friday 21 February 2020.

The United Nations team in Belgium brings together 27 specialised agencies, funds and programmes spanning the development, humanitarian and human rights work of the UN. The Director of the UN Office in Brussels is the representative of the UN Secretary-General to the European Union institutions. The team works to strengthen the strategic partnership between the UN and the EU at the global and local level.
