UNU-CRIS Will Contribute to the We-Act [Water Efficient Allocation in a Central Asian Transboundary River Basin] Webinar: ‘Empowering Women in Water’.

This event is coinciding with the ‘International Day of Women and Girls in Science’ and is a cornerstone of the WE-ACT project, showcasing the vital role of women in advancing water sector innovation and sustainability in the region and globally.

Dr. Nidhi Nagabhatla, a Senior Fellow and Cluster Coordinator, will share her insights on how coordinating projects, programmes, and activities contributes to gender-sensitive environmental governance initiatives and helps shape impactful outcomes. She will also reflect on Transboundary Waters and Hydro diplomacy, exploring the impactful role of women in this dynamic field.
